Daniel Prandl

Daniel Prandl was born in Burghausen, Germany in 1979 and studied Jazzpiano in Mannheim and Helsinki.
Meanwhile one of the most recognized piano players in Germany, Daniel is part of various projects from mainstream to contemporary jazz. With his quartet, he is implementing his own vision of jazz: a programmatic approach, combining his affinity for jazz and literature.
His work also includes TV-/ Radioshows, theatrical productions and since 2008 a lectureship at the University for Music, Mannheim. In 2014 his first play-along book was published by Alfred Music Publishing.
